Development: ISTD workshop:

Selected Brief: Channel X
We started off the workshop by highlighting 5 problems that I need to solve:

_The visuals are fantastic, however they are missing a brand/Identity that holds it all together.
_ What is meant by the word Mojo?
_ The brand needs to stand out amongst the range of brands that surround this Channel
_  I must make sure that the design connects emotionally with the audience:
_" We need to be more than Expected" - Must be innovative ( not the normality)

5 reasons why i want to solve them:

_ The brief allows me to be innovative with experimental logo design
_ Allows me to develop my problem solving skills, especially making the brand communicate emotionally with the audience
_The brief allows me to experiment with branding even further as this is one of my chosen areas of interest this is a great opportunity for me to develop my skills.

5 facts about the subject and content:

_ The channel plays, Series, Film, Documentarys, These are what the target audience are most into. 
_ The company blends cool drama with our own lifestyles
_ international Tv brand
_ The brand is too passive and needs to stand out amongst the crowd

5 things i need to know about the brief:

_ What the brief means by MOJO
_ Look at competitors Branding
_ Look at what appeals to the audience
_ Define what the brief is actually asking for_ A face to the channel an Identity amongst other channels.

5 ideas that need to be communicated in this brief:

_ a strong bold attitude
_ alive however still focusing on type as well as image
_

_Website
_Channel name

_ Advertisements
_ Billboards

_ In the city/Motorways billboard designs
_ World wide web
_ Online channel (4od)
_ tv advertisements
