Progress Crit:
Issues raised: Overall my crit went very well, everyone seemed to get the idea of what I aimed to achieve. The only problem was the visual message for the image was confusing -
Action to be taken:
I aim to produce a wider range of layout designs, so i can find a design that will work for the layout of the typographic elements of my design.
- Also i aim to develop my image in illustrator making the message communicate more effectively.
- Image - develop the idea of Crop = Money combine this with info graphic style where communicating a message is the whole aim of the piece.
- Typographic elements - Industrial style sans serif type face, that is highly readable and legible - aim simple to communicate.
- Colour scheme - Yellow and black - reinforcing the industrial feel, over all a work related theme.
- Stock - Thick card like the poster stock. full ink coverage of yellow or black.
- Format - 16cm by 11cm envelope - this folds out into 55cm poster designs supported by a mailing list.
- Reasoning behind - 79% of farmers main worry is financial issues, tips on how to combat this problem.
