We need a logo design for a new 3d company based in Brasília - Brazil called "Fábrica D'arte" (In English it would be called The Art Factory). We are a computer graphics company specialized in the architectural visualization industry, but are going to be doing lots 3d work other than architectural visualization, so we need a logo that can transmit professionalism and creativity.
I have created a logo design that showcases a modern aesthetic, which i feel is very fundamental when creating a design that is based around a technological company. I enjoyed creating this logo as the company that we where designing for where creatives themselves. This allowed me to create a logo design that was creative and had some level of abstract design incorporated.
Fabrica D'Arte - Art Factory.
The fact that the company worked mainly with digital architecture and the name was instantly relating to a building i felt it was a necessity for me to include this within my design however i wanted to experiment with the creative elements i thought about the comapny for a long time and realised that factory was basically a direct relation to the process of creating and making ideas. so i decided to look at how the creative brain is a factory/machine of creating ideas this was brought in by the representation of the Cog within the design that also represents a factory shaped piece of architecture.
I was very happy with my logo design and felt i wanted to take this further, i decided that it would be a great opportunity for me to improve my skills within web design. I again wanted to create a design that would represent the company through its design i used my research into architecture as my basis of the design. i used the grid system and clean aesthetic to represent this i felt in terms of layout i could be creative as once again the audience for this are within the creative sector.
As you can see the web design i have created is directly linked to architecture in general, the grid and clean layout design creates a design that will be appealing to the target audience, the simple navigation of the web design is also to represent the modernist design direction i decided to follow.
I have shown how the website would be navigated and i have then gone onto show how the web design would be effective when opened on phone.

| Requirements
Must Have:
- The logo must have the company name "FÁBRICA D'ARTE" much bigger than the subtitle "Computação Gráfica" (computer graphics), and we think the name "FÁBRICA D'ARTE" looks better in capital letters, but the subtitle is up to the designer. If you feel the logo looks better without the capital letters you can send it in also.
Nice to Have:
- We thought that a cool idea could be some sort of stylized factory design, with colored smoke coming out of the chimneys (one or multiple colors) interacting with the company name, or simply beside/above the company name. We are open to any new design ideas you guys could have, so feel free to experiment and send in some great designs, but we do pretend to make a video with a 3d scene of the factory turning into the logo in the future, so that must be considered in your future design.
Should Not Have:
- One thing we don't want is the logo to be 3D. We want a 2d logo. |
